Natasha Carmona Cruz is a Costa Rican cinematographer and producer. She holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Costa Rica. She has worked as a director of photography for Esencial Costa Rica, the national country brand, as well as on documentaries, short films, music videos, commercials, and fashion films. She has been part of the camera department on feature films such as Clara Sola (2021), Memorias de un cuerpo que arde(2024), Bye bye, paraíso (2025), Hombres perdidos (2025), Madre pájaro (2026), Nadie sabe que hoy jugamos (2026), and Abril (2026).
In 2024, she won first place in PRISMA, a competition organized by the Costa Rican Association of Cinematographers (CCR), with the documentary project Hija del sol, shot on 16mm film. She has collaborated with companies and platforms such as Warner Music, Amazon Prime Video, Establishment Labs, Wecouldbemusic, Caramba, FilmSupport, Bicha Cine, Dos Sentidos, and Infinito Films, as well as institutions including the National Theatre of Costa Rica, the National Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica, Canal Quince, and the University of Costa Rica.
